As part of my internship with Marble & Canvas—Kansas City Art Institute's first dedicated retail gallery—I was tasked with creating custom fixtures. I designed and fabricated this shelf blending the storied history of Vanderslice Hall through reclaimed spindles, with modern fabrication techniques such as CNC milling, and SLS printing, paying homage to the Queen Ann style architecture of the building.
